The Satellite C655 Series is a 64 bit laptop and can natively run any 64 bit operating system.
The 64 bit CPU can also run a 32 bit x86 operating system using built in hardware emulation.

So in some cases an OEM beta recovery disk from Toshiba® could originally of been published over 25 years ago. This date would obviously depend on the manufacturing date of the Satellite C655 Series laptop, but in most cases it will be years out of date and will contain old drivers and a very old edition of the operating system.
