The Original Toshiba Portege M750 Series Operating System Was Microsoft Windows Vista Business (32/64 bits) / XP Tablet PC Edition downgrade
The Toshiba Portege M750 Series laptop was originally supplied from the Toshiba factory with the following specifications and software. The Portege M750 Series CPU is the Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 / 2.4 GHz running at a clock speed of 2.4 GHz. The laptop was supplied with a standard 2 GB of DDR2 SDRAM memory. Graphics was originally an Intel GMA 4500MHD The video card runs at WXGA. The motherboard was designed around the Mobile Intel GM45 Express chipset running at 1066 MHz. Storage was on a standard 160 GB drive with networking running on the Gigabit Ethernet device. The original system was also supplied with Microsoft Office 2007 (Some additional software is not included).

The Portege M750 Series is a 32 bit laptop and can natively run any 32 bit operating system.
The Toshiba portege m750 series laptop recovery disk set.
Some original operating systems are old, like really old! Windows® XP was originally released on October 25 2001, making it very close to 25 years old. So in some cases an OEM beta recovery disk from Toshiba® could originally of been published over 25 years ago. This date would obviously depend on the manufacturing date of the Portege M750 Series laptop, but in most cases it will be years out of date and will contain old drivers and a very old edition of the operating system. To overcome this we also supply, with every order, an agile driver recovery disk, which will carry out a live scan and replace and update any old drivers.
Although we do not support Windows® 95 or 98, here is a list of when each OS was released. Windows® 95 August 24, 1995, Windows® 98 June 25, 1998, Windows® XP October 25, 2001, Windows® Vista January 30, 2007, Windows® 7 October 22, 2009, Windows® 8 October 26, 2012, Windows® 8.1 October 17, 2013, Windows® 10 July 29, 2015 and Windows 11 was announced by Microsoft on June 24, 2021.
Remember that a valid product key (found on the Portege M750 Series COA ) is required to use the system recovery service. If you have the Windows® 10 8.1 or Windows® 8 operating system and you do not see a COA then your product key will be embedded in the Portege M750 Series BIOS. Toshiba® Portege M750 Series Laptop (US) Windows® 10 Recovery Software
The Toshiba Portege M750 Series Windows® 10 recovery software is available on a DVD disk set, USB or download ISO image and is designed for use specifically with the Toshiba Portege M750 Series.
If Toshiba® originally supplied your laptop with Windows® 10, or if you upgraded it from or Windows® 8.1 or 8, then this software will use your built in product key to automatically reinstall or repair your system. If you have upgraded from Windows® 7 or your product key is not built in you can select the edition for repair or reinstall from a drop down menu during the repair or reinstall process. Once your Toshiba Portege M750 Series Windows® 10 operating system is repaired or reinstalled the drivers and associated software are all restored using the Toshiba Portege M750 Series driver resource software. Once repaired or reinstalled Windows® 10 will then automatically connect to the Microsoft® activation servers and activate.
