The Weasel P4M is a 64 bit laptop and can natively run any 64 bit operating system.
The 64 bit CPU can also run a 32 bit x86 operating system using built in hardware emulation.
The PCMCIA hardware uses the driver for the Texas Instruments PCI xx21 x515 cardbus controller.

We will supply you with the most up-to-date Windows® operating system recovery disk available for your NEC® laptop. It is worth remembering that some operating systems such as Windows® XP were originally released on October 25 2001, making the original Windows® XP nearly 25 years old. So in a very extreme case an original beta release recovery disk from NEC® could of been published 25 years ago. To overcome this we also supply, with every order, an agile driver recovery disk, which will carry out a live scan and replace and update any old drivers. Remember that a valid product key (found on the Weasel P4M COA ) is required to use the system recovery service. If you have the Windows® 10 8.1 or Windows® 8 operating system and you do not see a COA then your product key will be embedded in the Weasel P4M BIOS. Never be tempted to download a restore disk from a torrent site or from Usenet. Most of these are fake restore disks and will contain files contaminated by a Trojan or virus. We will supply you a perfect genuine and legal restore disk, supplied by a genuine Microsoft authorized digital partner or directly from the OEM manufacturer.
NEC® Weasel P4M Laptop (US) Windows® 10 Recovery Software
The NEC Weasel P4M Windows® 10 recovery software is available on a DVD disk set, USB or download ISO image and is designed for use specifically with the NEC Weasel P4M.
If NEC® originally supplied your laptop with Windows® 10, or if you upgraded it from or Windows® 8.1 or 8, then this software will use your built in product key to automatically reinstall or repair your system. If you have upgraded from Windows® 7 or your product key is not built in you can select the edition for repair or reinstall from a drop down menu during the repair or reinstall process. Once your NEC Weasel P4M Windows® 10 operating system is repaired or reinstalled the drivers and associated software are all restored using the NEC Weasel P4M driver resource software. Once repaired or reinstalled Windows® 10 will then automatically connect to the Microsoft® activation servers and activate.

After installing a new Windows® operating system, some devices like the video, sound or maybe the wireless network will not work correctly. This is because the Weasel P4M Windows® operating system will set the computer up with with generic drivers that are designed only to operate at a very basic level. Some form of device driver is required for the hardware to operate in any way. Windows® default drivers are designed so that the basic start-up requirements are met, such as being able to see some sort of display. Many driver softwares or resource softwares, as they are sometimes called, are normally just full of compressed, out of date and hard to install driver files. This driver software will supply you with all the very latest Weasel P4M drivers as the driver software update system will then also go on-line, update, replace and remove any old or broken device drivers.
