The Lenovo IdeaPad S205 Series laptop was originally supplied from the Lenovo factory with the following specifications and software. The IdeaPad S205 Series CPU is the AMD E-350 1.6 GHz running at a clock speed of 1.6 GHz. The laptop was supplied with a standard 4 GB of DDR3 SDRAM memory. Graphics was originally an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6310 512 MB The video card runs at HD. The motherboard was designed around the AMD A50M chipset running at the standard speed. Storage was on a standard 500 GB drive with networking running on the 10/100 Ethernet device. The original system was also supplied with the Windows® operating system, drivers and associated software.

The 64 bit CPU can also run a 32 bit x86 operating system using built in hardware emulation.
