The 3100 is a 64 bit laptop and can natively run any 64 bit operating system.
The 64 bit CPU can also run a 32 bit x86 operating system using built in hardware emulation.
The 3100 storage device driver can use the Ricoh R5C592 memory stick bus host hardware.

We will supply you with the most up-to-date Windows® operating system recovery disk available for your Packard Bell® laptop. It is worth remembering that some operating systems such as Windows® XP were originally released on October 25 2001, making the original Windows® XP nearly 25 years old. So in a very extreme case an original beta release recovery disk from Packard Bell® could of been published 25 years ago. To overcome this we also supply, with every order, an agile driver recovery disk, which will carry out a live scan and replace and update any old drivers. Remember that a valid product key (found on the 3100 COA ) is required to use the system recovery service. We will supply you a perfect genuine and legal restore disk, supplied by a genuine Microsoft authorized digital partner or directly from the OEM manufacturer.
Packard Bell® 3100 Laptop (US) Windows® 10 Recovery Software
The Packard Bell 3100 Windows® 10 recovery software is available on a DVD disk set, USB or download ISO image and is designed for use specifically with the Packard Bell 3100.
If Packard Bell® originally supplied your laptop with Windows® 10, or if you upgraded it from or Windows® 8.1 or 8, then this software will use your built in product key to automatically reinstall or repair your system. If you have upgraded from Windows® 7 or your product key is not built in you can select the edition for repair or reinstall from a drop down menu during the repair or reinstall process. Once your Packard Bell 3100 Windows® 10 operating system is repaired or reinstalled the drivers and associated software are all restored using the Packard Bell 3100 driver resource software.
