The Overdose S2 is a 64 bit laptop and can natively run any 64 bit operating system.
The 64 bit CPU can also run a 32 bit x86 operating system using built in hardware emulation.
Gericom multimedia hardware will need the driver for the Intel 82801DB DBL DBM AC97 sound (ICH4-L ICH4-M) device.

We will supply you with the most up-to-date Windows® operating system recovery disk available for your Gericom® laptop. It is worth remembering that some operating systems such as Windows® XP were originally released on October 25 2001, making the original Windows® XP nearly 25 years old. So in a very extreme case an original beta release recovery disk from Gericom® could of been published 25 years ago. To overcome this we also supply, with every order, an agile driver recovery disk, which will carry out a live scan and replace and update any old drivers. Remember that a valid product key (found on the Overdose S2 COA ) is required to use the system recovery service. If you have the Windows® 10 8.1 or Windows® 8 operating system and you do not see a COA then your product key will be embedded in the Overdose S2 BIOS. Never be tempted to download a restore disk from a torrent site or from Usenet. Most of these are fake restore disks and will contain files contaminated by a Trojan or virus. We will supply you a perfect genuine and legal restore disk, supplied by a genuine Microsoft authorized digital partner or directly from the OEM manufacturer.
Gericom® Overdose S2 Laptop (US) Windows® 10 Recovery Software
The Gericom Overdose S2 Windows® 10 recovery software is available on a DVD disk set, USB or download ISO image and is designed for use specifically with the Gericom Overdose S2.
If Gericom® originally supplied your laptop with Windows® 10, or if you upgraded it from or Windows® 8.1 or 8, then this software will use your built in product key to automatically reinstall or repair your system. If you have upgraded from Windows® 7 or your product key is not built in you can select the edition for repair or reinstall from a drop down menu during the repair or reinstall process. Once your Gericom Overdose S2 Windows® 10 operating system is repaired or reinstalled the drivers and associated software are all restored using the Gericom Overdose S2 driver resource software. Once repaired or reinstalled Windows® 10 will then automatically connect to the Microsoft® activation servers and activate.
