The Blockbuster Mobile is a 64 bit laptop and can natively run any 64 bit operating system.
The 64 bit CPU can also run a 32 bit x86 operating system using built in hardware emulation.
The network device hardware is associated with the Accton EN 1216 ethernet device.

Some original operating systems are old, like really old! Windows® XP was originally released on October 25 2001, making it very close to 25 years old. So in some cases an OEM beta recovery disk from Gericom® could originally of been published over 25 years ago. This date would obviously depend on the manufacturing date of the Blockbuster Mobile laptop, but in most cases it will be years out of date and will contain old drivers and a very old edition of the operating system. To overcome this we also supply, with every order, an agile driver recovery disk, which will carry out a live scan and replace and update any old drivers.
Although we do not support Windows® 95 or 98, here is a list of when each OS was released. Windows® 95 August 24, 1995, Windows® 98 June 25, 1998, Windows® XP October 25, 2001, Windows® Vista January 30, 2007, Windows® 7 October 22, 2009, Windows® 8 October 26, 2012, Windows® 8.1 October 17, 2013, Windows® 10 July 29, 2015 and Windows 11 was announced by Microsoft on June 24, 2021.
Remember that a valid product key (found on the Blockbuster Mobile COA ) is required to use the system recovery service. If you have the Windows® 10 8.1 or Windows® 8 operating system and you do not see a COA then your product key will be embedded in the Blockbuster Mobile BIOS. Gericom® Blockbuster Mobile Laptop (US) Windows® 10 Recovery Software
The Gericom Blockbuster Mobile Windows® 10 recovery software is available on a DVD disk set, USB or download ISO image and is designed for use specifically with the Gericom Blockbuster Mobile.
If Gericom® originally supplied your laptop with Windows® 10, or if you upgraded it from or Windows® 8.1 or 8, then this software will use your built in product key to automatically reinstall or repair your system. If you have upgraded from Windows® 7 or your product key is not built in you can select the edition for repair or reinstall from a drop down menu during the repair or reinstall process. Once your Gericom Blockbuster Mobile Windows® 10 operating system is repaired or reinstalled the drivers and associated software are all restored using the Gericom Blockbuster Mobile driver resource software. Once repaired or reinstalled Windows® 10 will then automatically connect to the Microsoft® activation servers and activate.
