The Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 laptop was originally supplied from the Asus factory with the following specifications and software. The ROG Strix Scar 17 CPU is the Ryzen 9 5900HX running at a clock speed of 4.8 GHz. The laptop was supplied with a standard 16 GB of DDR5 SDRAM memory. Graphics was originally an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU The video card runs at resolution of 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA) Adaptive Sync. The motherboard was designed around the PCIe 3.0 chipset running at 4800 MHz. Storage was on a standard 2 TB RAID 0 drive with networking running on the Gigabit Ethernet device.
