The 64 bit CPU can also run a 32 bit x86 operating system using built in hardware emulation.

Some original operating systems are old, like really old! Windows® XP was originally released on October 25 2001, making it very close to 25 years old. So in some cases an OEM beta recovery disk from Acer® could originally of been published over 25 years ago.
